Jooxter & WX Solutions

Wx Solutions, was created as part of Sodexo Group in 2017 to help companies find the right balance between hybrid work and real estate performance, and to improve the employee work experience. The company offers a SaaS platform for analyzing occupancy by leveraging a wide range of IoT sensors. In January 2020, Sodexo, acquired a majority stake in French startup, Connected Space Management through Wx Solutions.

Jooxter is integrating all Wx Solutions' teams to ensure continuity of service for clients and users. In addition, Jooxter and Sodexo have concluded a commercial partnership agreement that will enable Sodexo's clients to benefit from the services of the new entity.

Fabien Girerd, CEO and founder of Jooxter, commented: “With this transaction, we are doubling in size and continuing our growth in a promising market. This growth will enable Jooxter to continue its expansion in France and internationally with extended services”.

The new entity employs around 50 people with an estimated 7 million euros in revenue.

According to our 2023 Occupancy Analytics Report, M&A activity reached its peak in 2021 and 2022. We expect acquisitions to continue as occupancy analytics software and indoor location technology play a crucial role in the data-driven approach to establish human-centric workplaces for building occupants and to support more efficient operations for facility owners and workspace operators.
