In this Research Note, we examine Bueno Analytics, an Australian startup providing building analytics software supporting decarbonization. We review the firm’s development since its founding, its software suite, key deployments, external funding, and recent growth. Bueno Analytics Profile Founded in 2013 by Leon Wurfel, Built Environment Optimisation Pty Ltd., trading as Bueno Analytics, is headquartered in Sydney, Australia. Originally part of the mechanical contracting company Airmaster Australia, Bueno became an independent privately owned company in 2017 following the acquisition of Airmaster by Daikin. Bueno’s team members were heavily involved in the creation, development, and success of the Australian Government’s NABERS rating program.
