CBRE Building Operations & Experience (BOE) Business Examined

In this Research Note, we examine CBRE’s recent announcement of the creation of a new Building Operations & Experience business segment, in conjunction with the acquisition of Industrious, a US provider of flexible workplace solutions. We assess the changes to the former Global Workplace Solutions business and comment on the Industrious acquisition and the state of the coworking market. CBRE CBRE Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company headquartered in Dallas, Texas is the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm. A new organizational structure was announced on 14th January 2025, which will comprise 4 business segments: Advisory Services, Building Operations & Experience, Project Management, and Real Estate Investments. Building Operations & Experience Business The new business segment will consist of CBRE’s Enterprise Facilities Management, Local Facilities Management, Property Management and Industrious.
