The market for artificial intelligence (AI) enabled video surveillance cameras has seen rapid growth in recent years as the technology becomes more mature and commercially viable. According to estimates from our latest research, the adoption of AI cameras capable of running deep learning on-device will increase from 18% in 2022 to 52% by 2028. This rapid growth will be driven by an unprecedented expansion in the variety of applications developed for the evolving capabilities of AI for video surveillance in a number of industry sectors.
