API Documentation

Two ways to connect: a traditional REST API for programmatic integration,
and a native MCP endpoint for direct AI assistant access. Choose the one
that fits your workflow, or use both.

API Chat

A traditional REST endpoint for querying Memoori’s research database. Returns structured JSON responses for integration into your applications, dashboards, or analytics pipelines. This is also the backend used when connecting AI assistants via a local plugin or RAG agent (e.g. a local Claude Desktop converter that translates MCP requests into REST calls).

API Resource

For Claude Desktop users who prefer a local setup: this REST endpoint is used by a local RAG agent that acts as a converter between MCP and REST. Your Claude Desktop client makes requests to the local plugin, which in turn queries this endpoint. This approach gives you full control over the pipeline and is ideal if you want to customise how your AI processes Memoori’s data.

Authentication

All API requests require an ‘X-API-KEY’ header. API keys are issued with Enterprise subscriptions. Each key is scoped to your organization and supports rate limiting.
