We review the development of its light commercial portfolio for small and medium-sized buildings and its partnership with Hitachi for a suite of AI-powered building management solutions, before commenting on the overall offerings of the Bosch group in building technologies. Bosch Home Comfort Group In August 2025, Bosch completed its largest acquisition in its history, following their agreement in July 2024 to purchase Johnson Controls Residential and Light Commercial (R&LC) HVAC equipment business for the purchase price of 8 billion U.S. dollars (7.4 billion euros). The transaction included the North America ducted business and the global residential joint venture with Hitachi, Ltd., of which JCI owns 60% and Hitachi owns 40%.
