In this Research Note, we examine MapsPeople, a Danish public company providing indoor mapping and navigation software, which announced an agreement to be acquired by a Canadian technology firm, Apex Group Technologies on 28th April 2025. This article highlights what’s behind the transaction, including reference to MapsPeople’s 2024 financial results, published 6th March 2025, and 2024 Annual Report, 10th March 2025. Acquiror Apex Group Technologies Inc. is a technology consolidator backed by Round13 Capital, a private equity firm, focused on growing software platforms.
