European Building Automation Player Sauter Advances Growth Strategy in Facility Management Services

For more than 100 years, Sauter Group, based in Basel, Switzerland with a production site in Freiburg, Germany, has provided products, solutions and services for building management and room automation.  With around 350 employees at the Basel site and 2,700 people worldwide, Sauter reported 2020 turnover of approx. €500 million, making them one of the second-tier building automation providers in Europe. The group has 26 subsidiaries in Europe and a worldwide network of joint ventures and local offices.  Sauter Germany accounts for over 50% of revenues, generating annual sales of €280 million, and has a total of 38 offices throughout the country. Sauter-Cumulus GmbH develops and manufactures products that are used in room and building management, including automation systems, sensors, and actuators for HVAC applications. Sauter FM GmbH, a sister company of Sauter-Cumulus GmbH, specializes in facility management services.
